International admissions

International applicants are assessed on a recognised high school diploma and, where available, international exam results. Eligibility on the application page follows the standard Turkish A/B candidate categories: foreign nationals, candidates who renounced Turkish citizenship, dual citizens and those who completed high school abroad (excluding the TRNC) may apply, while Turkish citizens who completed their secondary education in Türkiye or the TRNC may not. There is no online application portal linked from the page: documents are emailed to candidate@topkapi.edu.tr or posted to the International Office in Güngören. The page states a Turkish requirement of TOMER B1 level and asks for a language certificate only "if available".

• Eligible (Group A): foreign nationals; Turkish citizens with permission to renounce citizenship; dual citizens holding a foreign nationality; those who completed secondary school in a foreign country (except the TRNC); TRNC residents with GCE AL results
• Not eligible (Group B): Turkish citizens who completed their entire secondary education in Türkiye or the TRNC; TRNC citizens (with limited exceptions); certain dual citizens with Turkish citizenship by birth
• Copy of high school diploma translated into Turkish or English; applicants without a diploma yet submit the original interim certificate of graduation
